Kuttura primarily offers two services: proofreading and editing. While our skilled linguists do a comprehensive analysis and correction of the syntax, grammar, wording, spelling and punctuation as part of both services, there is a distinct difference. To avoid confusion, please find definitions of both proofreading and editing below.
We define proofreading as an endeavor to remove all errors from your work, presenting you with an error-free document that reads at a native English level. When editing a document, we alter the structure and style of your work to present your ideas in a free-flowing, logical and cohesive manner fit for your purpose.
The differences between proofreading and editing are as follows:
We use the “Track Changes” tool in Microsoft Word to easily and clearly present changes in your document. We also utilize the comments function to suggest alternate phrasing or to highlight problems such as confusing or obscure phrasing.
The default word processing tool that we accept is Microsoft Word, and the word formats such as .doc, .rtf and .docx. We are also able to proofread documents in other formats such as PDF or LaTeX, but you will need to contact us first.

Our editing and proofreading services for academic work, notably papers, theses and dissertations due to be submitted for credit toward a university degree adhere to strict ethical standards. It’s important to state that we are not a ghostwriting service. We will not write your university paper, theses or dissertation, nor will we perform research or do considerable amounts of writing.
